Within the hour Maëlle was sitting in her car, in Quinn’s garage, waiting as the garage door closed.
She got out of her car strode into the house, and went to the bedroom.
Quinn grabbed her as soon as she walked across the threshold. He kissed her warmly.
“Maëlle, you know you’re my best friend,” Quinn said. “I want you my best friend. I want you,” he said dramatically. “And you know you want me. He leaned in to nuzzle her neck. Puzzled, he pulled away. “You’re not wearing our perfume?”
Maëlle studied him. He was so easy to read. “No Quinn, you melodrama Shakespeare crazed lunatic. Your screw buddy is not wearing our perfume. You’re twisted,” she said.
“I know,” he assured her. The desire drained from his eyes.
“Can’t get into your fantasy without it, huh Quinn? The perfume I mean,” Maëlle said.
Quinn just nodded. “I have some….Some perfume, you know.”
